Meet the winners of FameLab Czech Republic
The Czech national final took place on Sunday 14 May at Studio Ypsilon in Prague.
The expert jury of Prof. Václav Pačes, Czech Academy of Sciences (chair), Mgr. Marie Rodinová (FameLab 2011 finalist) and Dr. Michael Londesborough (chemist and science communicator) had the difficult task of deciding who would be awarded the main prize. Focusing on the scientific content, clarity of presentation and charisma of the competitors they reached the following decision.
THE OVERALL WINNER of FameLab 2017 Czech Republic is Tereza Mašínová. Tereza will represent the Czech Republic at the international FameLab final in Cheltenham, UK.
THE BRITISH COUNCIL AND ADETO PRIZE was awarded to Václav Mareška who will have a chance to meet other international FameLab finalists and many experts at Cheltenham Science Festival.
Czech Academy of Sciencies prize went to Grygoriy Zolotarov (UK Praha).
Vodafone Foundation Czech Republic prize was awarded to Václav Mach (UTB Zlín).
Both the Czech Centres prize and the Audience prize went to Martin Janda (VŠCHT Praha).
