The Teacher Refresher is a face-to-face course for those who teach English to secondary students. It aims to enhance teachers' knowledge and competencies, as well as build confidence and present effective methods, used in selected areas of teaching English. The course also strives to give English teachers the opportunity to practise their English (C1 and higher).

  • Course Format

    The course runs in 2 consecutive days (8 lessons - 6hrs - per day)

    Friday: 10.00 - 13.00 and 14.00 - 17.00

    Saturday: 9.00 - 12.00 and 13.00 - 16.00

    The course takes place at the British Council in Prague and is led by an experienced teacher trainer/s.

    Maximum number of participants per group is 14.

    Course participants will be encouraged to actively contribute to knowledge, idea and activity sharing. There will be plenty of opportunities for discussion. Participants will simultaneously build a portfolio of activities, ideas and materials.

    We don't test the entry English level, as teachers are able to critically assess their own English level.

    By registering to this course, participants acknowledge that their level of English cannot be a reason for a course fee refund.
