Laurence Benjamin, teacher, British Council, Prague

Laurence Benjamin

Senior teacher Young Learners

I have lived in Prague for more than 13 years now as a teacher, an examiner and a teacher trainer and certainly consider it my adopted home. In the British Council, I am responsible for courses for kids and teens as well as teaching Legal English.

Charles Stewart

I am originally from Nashville, Tennessee in the US, and have been living and working in the Czech Republic for more than 5 years.  Before the Czech Republic, I have lived, studied and worked in Madrid, Spain and Paris, France.  I enjoy teaching at the British Council, where I teach preschool, primary, and pre-teen classes. In my free time I enjoy gardening, playing with my dogs, and photography.

Jana Braňková

Hi, my name is Jana and I’m an English Teacher. I’ve been working for the British Council for 3 years. Summer is my favourite season, what about yours? I love travelling, drawing, and walking in the countryside. I am looking forward to seeing you soon!

Mark Fitzhenry

Hi. I’m Mark. I’m a former journalist, professional wrestler, and law clerk who moved here in 2011 with my dog, Baldy. I’ve lived on three continents, kissed a dolphin, played soccer with Carlos Valderrama, won on a game show, and shaken hands with Bill Clinton. Also, one of these facts isn’t true.

Mason Long, teacher, British Council, Prague

Mason Long

I'm originally from the charming southern American town of Charleston, South Carolina. I've been in Prague since 2010 and before moving here I taught English in South Korea. In my free time I enjoy watching documentaries, cycling, and exploring this beautiful city.
